"Drive Your Studebaker Day" - "Mercy Picnic" Sept.4th, 2010
Forty four gathered at the home of hosts Dave and Donna Neiber in Roscoe, IL. to celebrate “Drive Your Studebaker Day” and attend the Rock River Valley Chapter’s annual “Mercy Fund” picnic. That represented 23 SDC memberships, nearly 25% of the chapter‘s membership. Twelve Studebaker cars were present, not bad considering the holiday weekend. The day was very enjoyable and there was plenty of car talk and girls talk. The brats were wonderful, as Dave did a great job on the grill and there was a good variety of hot dishes, salads, and desserts. Special thanks goes to Dave and Donna Neiber, our hosts for all the work they put into the event. Donations were accepted for the Mercy Fund, two hundred and fifty five dollars was raised.
